I am an Engineering Manager in the Cloud Services team at Apple, and love working to reduce the energy consumption in data centers. I received my PhD from Columbia University in the Computer Science department advised by Jason Nieh. My research interests include operating systems, scheduling, IPC, virtualization, mobile computing, image sensing, and photography. Recent interests include cloud computing, and cloud data security. I live with my wife and children in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
